Above this volume, Professional costs less per month. --- ## Overage & limits - Subscriptions: no hard monthly cap. Usage is metered without limit and billed in arrears at the plan per-document rate. - Failed extractions: never billed. If a document cannot be extracted (unreadable scan, unsupported type), no usage unit is consumed and no credit is deducted. The error response states this explicitly. - Credits: consumed one per successful extraction. Failed extractions do not deduct credits. - Rate limits: 30 single-file extractions per 5 minutes per account; 6 batch calls per 5 minutes per account (up to 10 files per batch call). - File size: 10 MB maximum per file. - Supported formats: PDF, PNG, JPG. --- ## Billing - Currency: EUR. Batch uploads count one unit per file in the batch. **Is pricing per seat or per workspace?** Neither. Pricing is per document processed. Any number of team members can share one account; it makes no difference to the bill. Multiple API consumers on the same account share one usage counter and one credit balance. **What if the extraction fails?** Failed extractions are never billed. You will not be charged and no credit is consumed. The error response states explicitly that no billing occurred. **Is there a free tier?** Yes. Every new account receives 5 free documents on signup — no card required. Full API and MCP access is available with those credits. A 7-day free trial is also available when starting a paid subscription. **Can I use the API before paying?** Yes. The 5 free signup credits give full REST API and MCP access immediately.
